With great separation between living space and bedrooms, a wood-burning fireplace, and a mountain-view balcony, it’s an easy place to settle in after a day on the mountain.

Guests also enjoy Notchbrook’s year-round outdoor heated pool and saunas, plus summer tennis, playground, and more—minutes from Stowe Mountain Resort and downtown.

Clear, accurate amenity details reduce guest confusion and help protect reviews—so we’re upfront about schedules and seasonal changes.

  • Pool + sauna hours: daily 4:00–8:00 PM during the season, weather permitting

  • Closures: may close during inclement weather (storms, high winds, etc.)

  • Winter temperature note: pool is heated to ~104°F in winter (hot-tub temps)

  • Towels: pool towels are available in the locker rooms and should stay there

Winter driving advisory (set expectations early)

Notchbrook Resort is located at the top of a steep hill. In winter months, roads may be snow-packed or icy.

For guest safety, AWD/4WD and snow tires are strongly recommended. Guests arriving without appropriate winter traction may have difficulty reaching the unit.

Setting this expectation clearly (and early) is a simple property management best practice that prevents avoidable issues on arrival day.

No smoking is allowed anywhere onsite. Thank you for helping keep the property clean and comfortable for everyone.
