Elmore Mtn 10K

The Trail Run is more than just a race, it's a celebration of community, nature, and
local pride. Held in the breathtaking trails of Elmore State Park, this event attracts
runners from across the region who are passionate about the outdoors and eager to
give back.

The Elmore Mountain 10K brings runners into the heart of Vermont's fall landscape for a challenging climb, scenic mountain trails, and a distinctly local race day celebration. The event combines a 10k trail run with unlimited tacos, a raffle, and a chance to support local backcountry recreation.

Course

The race starts at the Beach and uses trails within Elmore State Park. The course covers 10 kilometers with approximately 1,500 feet of vertical gain, making this a short-distance race with a meaningful amount of climbing.

Experience

This is designed as a community-focused mountain race rather than simply a timed run. Fall foliage, rugged Elmore Mountain trails, a post-race taco party, and the raffle give the event a relaxed festival in Elmore's "Beauty Spot of Vermont" atmosphere alongside the physical challenge.

The race also supports the Mansfield Backcountry Alliance, whose mission is to advocate for safe, accessible, and sustainable human-powered winter recreation in the Mount Mansfield region.
